Sacred Geometry is the geometry of consciousness. This matrix is comprised of select shapes and patterns that we see throughout the micro and macrocosm. Through these, we are able to unlock consciousness and understand the Universe on a deeper level. It is my intention to utilize these to activate those who view it.
ABOUT ME
My name is Matthew Kurtyka, also known as The Sacred Creative. I am a tattoo artist and musician based in St. Pete, FL, specializing in black and grey, sacred geometry and ornamental adornments.
Originally from Harrisburg, PA, I’ve been drawn to art and music since childhood. It wasn’t until my late twenties that I fully committed to a creative life. After moving to Florida, I co-founded Plant Love Ice Cream, a plant-based ice cream shop. This rooted me in the St. Pete community before stepping into a full-time tattoo artist.
I wasn't always on the creative path. Even though I was obsessed with doodling as a child, it seemed challenging to cultivate a career as an artist. I hit a breaking point in my late-twenties, becoming clear with myself that I did not want to settle for a life that was uninspiring.
Tattooing has become a deep practice of patience and presence. It has not been easy, cultivating a path that allows me to do what I love. I never take my clients for granted, and am always grateful for the opportunities to connect and support others on their journey. I attribute tattooing to a lot of growth, allowing me to refine not just my artistic abilities but who I am as a person.
Pursuing a creative path has taught me a lot about myself. I have been on a spiritual journey of self-healing, inner-union and creative expression for over a decade. I strive to walk with God, holding love, compassion and integrity with all that I do.
Every day is an opportunity to walk with gratitude and reciprocity for the blessings we have in our life. Creative expression has saved mine, as I aspire to empower others to share their unique gifts with the world.
